Ibrahim Khan

Ibrahim Khan is the co-founder and CEO of Islamic Finance Guru (IFG), a UK-based platform dedicated to making ethical and Sharia-compliant investing accessible to Muslims. Launched in 2015 alongside co-founder Mohsin Patel, IFG began as a blog and has since evolved into a comprehensive financial hub offering investment advice, personal finance tools, and Islamic estate planning services.

Ibrahim holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, an MA in Islamic Finance from the Markfield Institute, and an Alimiyyah degree from the Al-Salam Institute. He also possesses a Diploma in Investment Advice and Financial Planning, along with a Certificate in Investment Management.

Before founding IFG, Ibrahim worked as a corporate lawyer, training at Ashurst LLP and later specializing in private equity and venture capital funds at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

In addition to his role at IFG, Ibrahim is the CEO of Cur8 Capital, an investment firm focused on democratizing access to high-quality investments. He is also a published author, with works such as Halal Investing for Beginners: How to Start, Grow and Scale Your Halal Investment Portfolio (Wiley).

Ibrahim’s work has garnered significant recognition, including being named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe list in 2020.
