Sabah Gilani OBE is the CEO of the Better Community Business Network (BCBN), a Muslim-led grant-giving organisation dedicated to tackling social inequality and empowering grassroots change across the UK. With over a decade of experience incubating and co-designing impactful community initiatives, Sabah has led pioneering programmes that address mental health and wellbeing, support Muslim heritage children in care through culturally competent fostering and adoption pathways, and champion faith equity—building strategic partnerships with mainstream services while amplifying the voices and needs of underserved communities.

Alongside her work at BCBN, Sabah is the founder of Muslim Women Founders, a platform that celebrates, connects, and elevates Muslim women in business and community leadership. While BCBN champions the power of business giving back, Muslim Women Founders nurtures the voices and visibility of women shaping change—supporting their growth as leaders, entrepreneurs, and agents of impact.
